For a small local club, we boast a range of facilities that will ensure your day is more enjoyable & comfortable.
The Club House
At the heart of the grounds is our main club house. Inside you will find our hard-working committee helping to make your day go smoothly. The club house is the place where you will register for your day’s shooting and from here you can purchase ammunition and ear protection should you require it. If you don’t have a gun for whatever reason, no problem, you can hire one from us at a small nominal fee.
We also have an inside seating area and a tea & coffee station should you need a cuppa on those chilly winter days!
The legendary BBQ
Every shoot day we put on a FREE BBQ for everyone. The BBQ is a unique part of the shooting experience at Mornington field & game. We even offer soft drinks to help was down the excellent food from the BBQ.
At our Christmas shoot in November, we go one better and put on a decent Christmas lunch at the end of the shoot. You can bring beer & wine to this event but consumption can only happen strictly after all shooting has stopped for the day.
There is plenty of room to sit down and chat about the birds you missed and of course the ones you hit 😊
We have standard and ambulant toilets should you them. Both facilities have sinks, soap and paper towels. We do keep some extra items in the club house should you need anything. Just ask a committee member if you need help.
Car Parking
We have ample car parking on both sides of our long driveway. If you are visiting us in a private mini-bus, just let us know and we’ll get you parked up by the club house.
